September 6, 2003 - A lot has happened since the last news update. We played a show on Aug 22nd at the Che Cafe with Video Armageddon and a bunch of other bands. It was great. I think it was our best performance. We are going to be on another Golly Gee Records compilation/tribute album so we'll be recording our track for that next week. We'll also be taken advantage of that to record a bunch of new songs with Paul and Amanda (they aren't on the old recordings). Not sure what we'll do with them (the tracks) yet. We have new T-Shirts, which are completely awesome in every way. They are blue with a brown and tan graphic. Once again we are out of pins too, so a new shipment of those (with a new design on them) should be in any day now.
June 15, 2003 - We have two new shows lined up for early July (4th and 5th). Check out the shows page. Oh yeah, and there are new videos and photos up from the last show!
April 3, 2003 - In case you missed the last show, let me just tell you that our new drummer, Paul, is rad. The entire show was rad. Thank you Altaire 6, Train vs Auto, and Creepy Creeps. In other news, we're launching this DIY record label Tired Machine Records. You can buy our stuff online from that site.
Feb 3, 2003 - We have a new drummer, his name is Paul. We have an awesome show lined up with some of the coolest bands in San Diego. Check the shows section.
Jan 3, 2003 - Charles has quit the band. Monsters From Mars is looking for a new drummer. Please contact us if you are interested.

September 12, 2002 - We have a 19 track CD-R release out entitled "Monsters From Mars play some originals and some surf guitar classics and obscurities." We played a show last Saturday which was fun. The track for the Golly Gee Supertones tribute has been sent and recieved. I [Thor] will now be leaving for college so Monsters From Mars won't be playing any shows until December at the earliest.
June 15, 2002 - This is the new website! We have two shows planned, but both at private parties. Also planning to record a couple tracks to be included in an upcoming Golly Gee Records release.
May 4, 2002 - We now have T-Shirts (thanks Mackenzie). Buy them at our next show. We also have presale tickets for our next show, we're selling them for $5. So buy them from us before the show some time.
April 14, 2002 - I just realized that I haven't updated in a while. Since the last update we've gotten a new show booked, put up pictures from the last show (taken by Danielle, thanks), and I've written a bunch of new songs, some of which we may play at our next show.
Feb 11, 2002 - The show last saturday was awesome. All the stuff that went wrong didn't stop us from rocking and the crowd from having a blast. I've uploaded a real video of Happy In A Cage from the show--check it out in the "sound waves" section!
Feb 1, 2002 - I added two new MP3's from our last practice. I got tired of waiting for MP3.com to approve them, so I just compressed them more and uploaded them to our mp3 server. The songs are callled Pollution In the Ocean and Coca-Cola Death Squad.
Jan. 23, 2002 - Just some stuff I want to meantion. I just recieved a shipment of our cool ass buttons. Find us and buy some. Also, there's a surf comp underway called Jesus Christ Surferstar; we are contributing a track called "This Jesus Must Die" (of course). ;)
Jan. 9, 2002 - We have finally booked a show. All the info is in the forcasted events section.
Dec. 28, 2001 - All plans for shows are falling apart. The mp3's in the mp3 section were mislabeled, so I fixed that. NEW VIDEO UP!!! Check out the "Sound Waves" section of the website.
